I got 15 gallons yesterday morning so far no issues, prices jumped 20 cents today too good thing I got it then

In addition to being more expensive, prices for gas out here are so much more volatile than back east. I read it's because Speedway has so many stations in the great lakes region and they're all corporate owned rather than independent and they basically control pricing because of that. I've stopped buying gas from them.

More Volitale in Michigan? Come on it only jumped $.33 in an hour yesterday thats a pretty stable market if you ask me. Any word on why it jumped so high yesterday? Some Oil Big Wig's wife wanted a new island or something?

Something was up yesterday as nearly every station I drove by was $3.9x but the Meijer was $3.67. Now it matches the rest but gasbuddy says there's a few that are still $3.6x on the outskirts of town (Jackson area). Work pays for my gas so it doesn't hurt me directly but it's the principal of it that really pisses me off.
