But you are trying to push your opinion too hard, and coming off like a jerk!
We all have different tastes, but it doesn't make anyone right or wrong. I don't really like your truck- but I am glad you do.

The point is we all love our trucks, that's why we are here, if you attack one of us then you are going to hear about it- like I said this is a quality site and you might not be used to that.

I stated my opinion and what I thought op should do to make it much more cleaner looking. Everyone jumped on me, I jumped back. And do not care about my current truck. I don't really like it either lol I didn't mod it up, just fixed it up and now waiting to sell in another month or so. But what's so quality about here you keep talking of? I know it's not truck quality, cause the only real nice clean ones I seen were main members at my other forum. The rest are gaudy or stock imo

Also, you don't see me bashing every truck on here without grille guards and mudflaps(most of them) and calling them crappy because they wouldn't work for me. I can appreciate most trucks because I'm not obsessive about everything being like I would have it if it was mine.

NJ Bassmaster ......... profile pic says assmaster z71 unless im missing some subliminal message there. That pretty much sums it up for me. While we are being honest all NJ Bassmaster thats one pretty plain ole blah blah looking truck you have. To the OP that is one SICK truck, I am not a chrome guy but it works on that one.

Stating your opinion is one thing....we're all entitled to that (although the OP never really asked us what we liked or didn't like about the truck in the first place...he was just telling the story and showing us some pics). However, running down someone's truck isn't cool...regardless of the situation...and really not cool on this particular thread. You could have started your post with something like 'I think it would look better if...' or 'I prefer the look of...'. But, your comments came off very rude. If we're all too sensitive here, maybe you should stay on those other forums, where you can be 'totally badass' with the other members.

I'm judging it by how it looks, which is like crap. Also, idc what kind of lights they are.. They look like cheap ebay headlights, which look like crap also.

If the bumper was any bigger he would need to fill his bed with hardened pools of steels to counterweight it and keep it from dragging on the ground..

Jealous of the trucks appearance is the LAST thing I am.. I like it for the truck it self and the performance mods.. But as for visual exterior mods, it's god awful.

I'm very serious... Sorry I'm not like all the other soft harted fairies here that will praise a vehicle no matter how bad it looks (this being prime example) I'm on several different gm truck forums. 2 of which are totally badass, and most of them will agree with me. Because we aren't afraid to actually say our opinion.

Yeah I did read the whole story and the comments. And so what? If he only posted pics of the truck and NO story, would you think any different of the truck? You probably would. Only reason it's been heavily praised is because your sympathetic fgts.

listen here keyboard warrior...its not a sob story, the guy was practically my brother. we grew up together, he died where we work in a horrible accident, you will never know the damage it had on me and my own family. the truck was his pride and joy so i bought it, i didnt ask for anyones opinion, just showin everybody what i picked up. but now your gonna get my opinion about you. what kind of douche bag flames another mans truck? especially another GM??? look at what ur drivin bud...the tranny in this truck is worth more than your entire vehicle is . get with it, nothing is "cheap" on this truck, he spent about $60k in aftermarket items. im sorry that your life has led you to the way you are i really am.

Yes. That's the nickname that derived from my original name elsewhere, little background story. Just using the same sig because it's easier. Like I said idc about this truck. It was a fixer uper and I'm selling it. Lights were a gift and wheels/tarz I got super cheap off my cousins new sierra. Everything else is repairs.

LOL good call, nope i dont plan on changing a thing. it needs new tires and im gonna change rear output shaft seal on t-case when i get home in a couple weeks. i noticed its leakin. and yes its tuned lol. tuning was done by rob coddens aka idaho rob. over half of the top ten quickest duramax trucks on planet earth are tuned by rob. it has a switch inside with 5 positions, 1st one is modified stock. 2nd is economy i think, 3rd is towing 4th is street 500hp/1000ft-lbs and 5th is max effort race tune 650 RWHP 1200+ ft-lbs...the truck is absolutely ridiculous. the #5 tune is crazy, cant even really use it unless ur in 4x4 it just spins the rears like crazy, even if you matt it at like 80-90 kms an hour it still breaks loose. by the way on economy setting i got a hair under 20 mpg hand calculated. lets see ur gasser pull that off with 35's and 6 inch lift hemicat

.i will use it for fishing and hunting but i wont be takin it mud bogging thats for sure lol. im gonna look for a mid 80's 3/4 ton for that stuff. and i got the wifes car for doing most of the running around town. its got roughly 150k kms on it, never been winter driven. unreal shape...
