It's a Traxxas Slash 4x4. In stock form which is mostly what it is now it'll do over 35mph. Once I get used to running it I'm going to get a Lipo Battery, and gear it so It'll hopefully run the 60mph they claim it will. That Silverado body is all beat up. I'm going to order another one, and paint it with better paint this time.

I had a T-Maxx 2.5 (I think it was 2.5) for a year or so. Then I got married and had to sell it. lol

They are pretty awesome, and the smell of the nitro burning brings back memories!

What gen of Maxx do you have? Those things are awesome.

It's old so probably the first generation. There isn't anything stock left on it though... the suspension, servos, radio, motor etc have all been upgraded.

I've got a 2wd Traxxas Slash... THey are alot of fun and super durable. My buddies and I used to get together and race them and have a few cold ones. My sons have Traxxas Stampedes.

My cousin has a mamba brushless Traxxas Summit 1/10. It's ridiculous. If he floors it, it just flips over backwards.

I still have a couple stampedes but they're not as fun as the slash.

Very true, but my sons are both under 8 and these are their 1st hobby grade r/c vehicles so they are happy. My sons just got venom rock crawlers too. I'm not big on rock crawling, but I do have a HPI wheely king with the rock crawler mod kit. We are in the process of building their crawlers. They are learning a little and having fun.

They were fun to learn on but I wanted something a little faster. It's a lot cheaper than buying them real trucks lol

The rock crawlers are a pretty neat deal, I have a couple clay bowls I love to slide the slash around in and have thought would be fun for that too.
