You guys are blowing everything waaaay out of proportion. Their is fires at diff upgraders, refineries, extraction plants, mines, sag-d, in-situ....every day their is a fire somewhere. All the time, last year plant 52 practically burnt to the ground at suncor. I'm not defending oil companies at all I see first hand the greedy and evil ways. But I do know that nobody really knows for sure who or what exactly controls gas prices. It's all a mystery...it's not based on supply and demand. Because nobody really knows the supply, it's oil companies who proclaim how many reserves they have. Alberta alone has enough oil to provide for another 100 years at the rate they are exporting now. 2.8 million bbd to the USA alone, china and USA are now in a serious pissing match over the oil. Fuel prices rise but the military still burns the same amount of fuel every day...can't tell me the supply is running out. It's all a show, bigger things happening. I for one believe the government has alot to do with all the nonsense not the oil companies.

You guys better hope the transcanada pipeline goes through. Or USA energy prices will skyrocket, you might end up paying as much as we do for fuel/oil.
