Exactly what are the gains from a tune?

+1. You can change shift points. Have the fuel and timing curves adjusted. Remove all the nanny torque management. If you can keep your foot out of it after the tune you might see a slight mpg improvement. Check out black bear performance. You won't be disappointed.

I'm having a huge problem with this.

Thank you all for the feedback. I just am chicken... and cannot possibly give away 3 years of warranty, if I were to have a problem. Maybe in January of 2016, when the 5 years is up, I'll revisit this topic. I do appreciate everyone's comments!

I tuned mine with 800 miles on it. I said screw the warranty. If something breaks I'll replace it with bettter parts, but that's me. Best decision I have made so far.

I got a blackbear tune on my 6.2 the day after I bought it....it's 100x or so it feels! better than stock...it will definitely improve drivability as well as some extra hp.

Agree w the rest... Best thing I've done to my truck.

You really don't have much to worry about as far as your warranty since all you'd need to do is reload your factory settings..

The answer to your questions about mpg and power depend on your setup and how you drive it.

I can pretty much guarantee along w everyone else that you'll like it.
