Truck Sits crooked

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have an 07 Sierra 2500HD Classic body with 8.1L...I bought the truck used with almost 95k on it...since I have had it..I notice the truck sits left to right crooked when empty...being it sits higher on the drivers side rear. It only straightens out if you have a good heavy load on it..for instance I had four yards of fill dirt on it and it sat level.

I even took and jacked the front of the truck up...unloaded both torsion keys and then reloaded them making sure to have the same amount of turns on each and still no change. Also first thing I did was make sure all tire pressures and sizes were the same

Is this normal or do you think I have an issue?

chevy trucks always have a lean to the driver side, lower the passanger side down some. dont ask me why, could also be the fuel tank. but just level the front left to right if you want. or see how much the back is off (typically 1/4-1/2") and adjust the same so its off the same amount

dat chevy lean

+1, mine has always had a little "lean" to it. It doesn't look like it does, never even noticed it until I installed my level kit and started taking dimensions front to rear and side to side.
