New phone time..

Love my Samsung Galaxy SII Skyrocket (4g) from AT&T. I picked it up for fathers day and have been very happy. The only difference between the SII & SIII are the gorilla glass and display. Horsepower are the same here in the US, overseas got a more powerful version. Maybe that will make it's way over here, but I'd save some $$$ and but the SII for $100 new or referb off of AT&T's web site for $9.

word of warning..

I just discovered that the OnStar App does not work on the S3.. apparently there is an issue with the screen resolution being too high, I talked to OnStar and they are aware of the issue and it will be several weeks before a fix is out.

Everyone I know who has the maxx loves it.

I have a 4S, Otterbox is a must for this phone... Still nowhere near as tough as my old waterproof Motorola flip though.

even with the gorilla glass and the kevlar back I still put an otterbox on my Maxx. It's not super bulky since the phone is so thin.

Regardless of which phone you choose, purchase it from BestBuy. They have an Amazon insurance thru GeekSquad. $9/month with NO deductible with NO limits (att & Verizon limit two claims per year). I have used this multiple times! Another plus is you can ALWAYS locate your phone from a computer. If you lose it, you can wipe it clean from a computer. You can also use the front camera and take a pic to see who has it or where it is.

This is very well worth the $9/month. It's called locked and found.

While your at it, buy stock in BB, lol. You won't regret it ;)

The old Motorola flip phones are practically indestructible. We use them at work and I have dropped it more times than I can remember, left it outside in the rain over night and it is still going strong. Off topic but we were told that Sprint will be getting rid of their Nextel side.
