Summer sucks. Give me winter anytime. Love snowmobiling.

X2, I'd take winter over this, but it's supposed to cool down to 105 tomoro. It's too hot to even go to the lake. So all I can do in the daytime is get on the Internet and look for snowboarding gear for this coming season.

And I thought it was hot the last 2 days. It was raining on and off for about 3-4 days, after it stopped the temp increased to the mid 90s.

I'm with you. I moved (involuntarily) from Alaska to Georgia 4 years ago tomorrow. It was 50F the day I left Alaska, and 90 the first day I was here. The temps aren't bad, but the humidity is TOOOO much. This summer is looking to be the same as it was that year, hot, humid, and nasty alllll the way. It was 95 yesterday and 90% humidity......can't breath....need AC....

Idk about that, I work in temps below

-35c regularly in the winter. It's not that bad because you can dress for it, in the summer the heat just kills you. I wear fully coveralls, with gloves, steel toes and hard hat. Welding and grinding down in an open pit mine in +30 in cuvvies and boots SUCKS. I'm not sayin winter is better lol, sucks doin it in the winter too but at least you can dress as warm as you want. And after -30c they only make you work for 45 min at a time and you can go warm up. In the heat they still expect full blast work, it's not very fun running 1/16" flux core in +30, not to mention mosquitoes and black flies pissing you off all day as well LOL....it SUCKS on that note I can honestly say Either way work still sucks in the cold or hot ahah

Ugh tell me about it!

heehee! Im only kidding, we are experiencing a case of the unusually wonderful summers here. I am complaining that it got into the low 70s and thats just uncomfortable. For me. Especially when I could be on a boat with a barn door halibut on the other end of 200 feet of line.

Forcast for Anchorage Ak for the next week: Highs in the low to mid 60s, partly sunny and lows in the mid to low 50s at night. Which only gets dark for a couple hours this time of year.

Cheers!
