ac blows hot air

i am having problems with my ac it blows real cold but about a hour running it starts blowing hot air out driver side the only wayit stops if i shut off engine then when i turn it bsck on it works fine till about a hr it does it again i read a few things about blend doors just making sure if it is that r anything ese and i do not hear any noise if it is blend door were it is how to change

You dont say what year your truck is but search for it on youtube. Type in the year Chevy truck you have first then the blend door actuator replacement.

Also get a check on your refrigerant level, cheap and easy check to verify.
