Bus monitor bullying ..

Just saw this on the news, the police got involved (not sure what charge they were dealing with) but she decided not to press charges and the school has taken over disciplinary actions for those students. Not sure if that will teach them a lesson or not, but hey?

If this was my kid he wouldn't be able to sit for a freakin year!

Saw on the news yesterday that the other kids that were not involved who know them posted there names and address on youtube and are receiving all kind of threats, they will be paying for this for a long time. I iam also a ferm believer of "what comes around goes around".

It's definitely a different era these days

Yea I see it at work all the time. Im only 24, but alot of the older guys don't even show any respect toward anyone. Theres no way my kid would act like that toward someone else.

One of the dads went and apologized

Ryan

I think the dad did that because any apology directly from the kids would not be heartfelt. Listening to the audio on the video shows the kids attitudes. Those kids are not sorry for what they did, they are sorry they got caught. Too bad there is really nothing anyone can do to punish the kids. Maybe the kids should be sent to the kindergarten class in texas that was in the news this week....

I had to turn it off when i got to the "i'm going to stab you and big macs will fly out".If i ever hurd someone talking like that to anyone i would put them in there place! Thats pathetic that they have no respect for anyone and clearly not for themselves.Disgusting! :fume:

What most folks don't realize that with today's cameras almost everywhere AND most kids now having and expensive cell phone with a camera - quite a bit is recorded on chip/disk.

What parents don't realize is that once something is on internet it will never go away.

They say, I heard, that the annual college Spring Break - has been toned down dramatically just because of this fact. These college kids - at some point - will be seeking employment. And most do not want some drunkin' video of themselves posted permanently on the internet for some prospective job opening/application/interview.

What will happen when these kids get older and go seeking a job?

The parents and the schools need to do a better job.

This is on the parents. The kid is in school for less than 25% of the day, the other 75% is where the damage is done.

x2.

There have been reports of scholarship applications being denied because of things posted on the applicants facebook and other places. I've also read some employers will view your facebook as part of the hiring process. I've even had a customer of mine track me down on FB- they mentioned it during a call for tech support one day about how nice my title/banner photo (of my truck of course!) was. Thankfully the page is about as buttoned down for non-firends as it can be but it was still a little uncomfortable.
