I would agree country IS NOT anywhere close to the country of 10 years ago. The sad thing is George Straight, Garth, Alan Jackson, ect, are being pushed out by "new country". IMO Brantley Gilbert is a southern rock and somehow they push him on country radio. Just like Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, ect, are pop music but somehow find themselves on country radio.

 

Great thing about music is everyone can choose to like who they want, just like the great trucks we drive. My two cents is up...

I hate that they are from Georgia. The sad thing is they probably did grow up in the country but in a county that was majority African American....not saying that there is anything wrong with that, just the culture or enviroment you grow up around influences you.
