2 inches too short...how can i clear 37's??

hey guys, as of now I have a 2011 silverado with the BDS 6'' kit along with a 1/2 inch helper ontop of the front coils. also installed is a 1.25'' BL that im needed to clear the mickyT 35's. the problem is that my little brother still has a couple inches on me with his lifted 79 gmc and i would like to find a way to stuff 37's under my rig once the 35's go bald.

I know there is not too many guys on here with 37's so any ideas would be helpful. Id like to stay away from the 3'' BL if any way possible because i dont like the look of the hitch hanging way down below the bumper.

I can only stomache to budget about 500 for the lift as i know the tires will be over 2k easy.

You're maxed out man. A larger suspension or body lift are your only options if you want to go higher. If you really want to stuff 37s, you can break out the sawzall and go to work removing plastic and metal from your fenders. And depending on your wheels you still may rub. My 37s rub some with 10" of lift.

Edit: and they rub with some trimming already done.

buy a 79 gmc so you can compare apples to apples instead of apples to oranges...a 79 pick up with 6" of lift can easily clear 37s and larger. you need to brag about other parts of your truck against his, like the fact that you can get in start up and drive everytime without thinking twice instead of him dealing with a carb and warming up and being a pain in the ass. the fact that you can cruise 90 on the freeway with one finger on the wheel. i have a 09 silverado on 35s and a 90 suburban on 37s. they are nowhere even remotely close to the same vehicle by any means

get rid of the BDS and get a 10" lift like bulletproof, fts, or cognito

That's a touch outside of his $500 limit.

yea thats what iv been backin myself up with everytime we bust eachothers balls over trucks. lol its not so much of a need as it is a want but i was just curious about my options. im only 6' so really if i put it up anothe 4'' it would start gittin rough on the ins and outs lol

you can clear 38s possibly even 39s with a lil bit of help from mr sawzall on those old trucks... my suggestion sell teh truck buy a deuce and a half (its got like 46s stock!!!!!) use left over money to buy a 01-3 silvy and lift it and hell might even have some money to buy a k5?
