The awkward run-in...

Anyone ever have that awkward run I with someone and don't know what to do? I'm 22 and I just ran into my ex from my sophomore year of high school. She was at work at Target. We went thru the awkward exchanges of "oh how have you been?" She didn't age well. But then again I was walking with a cane. But yea it was awkward. I believe I won because I spent my time in the military got out and am in college.

Well figure I haven't lived here for a few years and I have been back about a year now. But the target she works at is on the other side of town. But it was awkward. I had the party thing happen when I was in the military.

I was an aircraft mechanic. My bottom vertebrae shifts around instead if moving with the rest of my spine. Not sure of the initial incident

I've never felt awkward running into an ex. Not sure what you mean by, "I believe I won because I spent my time in the military got out and am in college." What competition did you "win"? I mean, you date somebody and it works and you get married or it doesn't and you move on. I've got no hard feelings or issues with any ex's.

She was a little rich girl who got everything she wanted. New Hummer on 24's when she turned 16. I say I won because it seems I'm doing a lil better in the game of life.

I see. I can only say be happy in what you do and not happy in what others don't. I'm 37 so old compared to you at 22. I've got two college degrees, happily married with 3 kids, and a home that my wife and I custom built. I've got a good job and feel comfortable at where I'm at in life. But I would not find pleasure in knowing that any of my ex's are unhappy in life. At some point, I cared or even loved them. I would only wish the best for them too. It would make me sad to know that any of them were not doing well or unhappy with their lives. It may be easy for me to say that because I am older and that none of the relationships I had, ended with them doing me wrong or something like that. They were all pretty much mutual move ons, or at least I think so (so maybe some of them wish me ill will :) ).

So nothing wrong with you being happy at where your headed in life but don't look down or judge the ex. And thanks for your service to our Country.

Its not that I wish her bad at all. I was overall surprised to see her working. And for minimum wage. I worked to get to where I am. I got lucky and fell into my job. But as soon as my separation from the air force was finalized I enrolled in school.

I sit with my friend Jason at times and we have our tailgate conversations sometimes at dusk drinking a beer. We have known each other since 4th grade so about 10 or 11 years old both of us turn 23 in June. We will run into people. And compare where they are to us. Some people didn't grow out of high school. Some went military. Some went college. He got a job and went to school and got his AS in firefighting yet he's a clerk at a grocery store. But we sit and think how people who in school had it all, now are at the same level as us.

Oh ok cool. Hydro on the F-16's don't do much lol. I guess the system is fairly simple, until we have to trouble shoot it cause its always an electric problem even if the damn paint on the jet is chipping....... call E&E, its got to be their system doing this!!!

Try the refueling system. Not the UARRSI but the hose and basket for the choppers to get gas. The Electrics in that is a nightmare. So many servo valves and it all has to br timed right
