That could double for the ice bucket challenge. Just be thankful you weren't in Northern Tier.

Haven't ever been in a 17. They still flying any C-5's? M's maybe? I guess the 141's are in the boneyard?

Sorry, haven't kept up.

I also thank you for your service.

The 141 is gone, i have been in the back of a 17 and its a nice ride except for sitting sideways. I liked flying in a 130. If you have room to lay down it is nice

C5s are still very much around and serving proudly. Sadly the beloved C-141 was retired from service in 2006. They were magnificent graceful old gals who served for over 40 years.

I think the 130's will be flying until the end of time.

Did you ever hear the one about the guy that mounted the rocket assist boosters to his car out in NM or AZ? Been a long time and can't remember which.

Yeah, I didn't say it was a true story, just asked if you heard it? Someone with a creative mind started the story, and it just got better as it was passed along. It wouldn't have been so funny if true. It was hilarious!

The look on my face driving home with a built trans last saturday. They gave me all my parts back in a box. The clutches were TOAST. But no slippage at all, must have been the BB increase line pressure that kept it together.
