What can I tow with my new truck?

I'm new to trucks and my older brother keeps telling but hes too techincal lol. I'm a little girl with a new truck, what do I know? so I was curious what I can tow. I have a 2011 1500 4x4 Crew Cab Silverado with a 4.8L with 3.42 gears 4 spead and a tow package I believe. What is the max weight I can tow and do I need any parts to that i need to tow with? He said i have the z82 & z85.....what does that even mean? Please help me lol

There is a table in the owners manual that lists truck configurations by cab type, bed type, gears and engine. Looks like yours is good for 5500 lbs.
