What did you do with your truck/shop today

Picked up my new (used) truck from the Chev dealership. They replaced the DEF tank as a warranty item. GM appears to be having DEF tank issues on the Duramax trucks.

May be going to look at an 06 Sierra 2500 with an LBZ on Saturday. It's got higher mileage (246k) but if it runs and shifts good, no weird noises, I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on it. Based on the pics online the interior is super clean, never seen a truck with that mileage have such a clean interior

Nice - I hear that's the last of the good diesels right there.

Some of my guys have finally returned from deployment. Gave a couple of them a ride to go and get there vehicles or a ride home. :flag:

Did they ask "MSgt why do you drive a bucket"?

Got the mower back from a buddy from work and promptly put it to use to cut the grass this afternoon. Unreal cutting the grass this early in the midwest.

Not even April and I have mowed 3x

Replaced the 6 Generals with Michelin defenders 245/70r17s.

When you're a fatty and they want to make sure their jacks hold lol. 3 ton jacks should have been fine. For some reason it's always funny to me to see my truck up on jacks and tires off.

Purdy new tires.

Haven't lightened their load if wheel weights in a while so I now have 6ish 5 gallon buckets of wheel weights and trash for traction control. Hope I don't have to help someone move anytime soon as the storage bin I use for wheel weights is already over filled. Guess I need to get off my butt and do some casting.

Nah, they new I had gotten a "new" truck before they left. Heck most of them had to drive by where I had my accident to get to work. Plus the "bucket" vs walking across the base was a no brainer.

mowed the yard 3 times this year or this month? I'll probably have to start mowing every week again here quite soon.

Both started mowing in March and have done it three times. It's twice a week for me :( otherwise it gets out of hand

I found it... Bought my new home today. The garage is a little smaller then I was looking for, but the price and property was hard to pass up. Plenty of room to expand the garage...

It is an oversized 1.5 car garage and plenty big enough for the Coronet...

Congrats. I have been looking at houses also, but don't plan on buying anytime soon. The market in my area is getting bizarre, and I look to be in one of the pockets in my area where houses seem to be getting overpriced. It got me looking around and thinking about selling.

I found one builder that is building identical size houses 6 miles apart. The difference in price between that 6 miles is nearly 40 or 50k!

Same town, same county, same school district. #Idunno

Want to see bizarre, you ought to see MA real estate. Absolutely ridiculous pricing.

We are at least a good month away from mowing. Hit 65° today ... and forecast says it's going to snow, and be 19° one morning next week. Can't get a break up here. :nonod: Today was only the 3rd day all year to break 60°.

People sure are spending their money again though. Sold my brother's DR350 dual sport, & his Corsa muffler for the Duramax in one day, then sold a '90 RT100 today in 4 hours, plus sold the 4 Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenzas off my mags, sold 11 K&N filters on eBay, and a few other odds and ends. People finally have money again up here after this mild winter with cheap oil prices.

Praying the decent economy continues ...
