Is your truck green? Or that just the light. I have never seen that color.

Yup! Color is called "Rainforest Green". I have only seen one other on the road so far while driving.

What does HOS stand for?

Hours of Sleep i think. And it applies to him with a personal camper because towing them is his job. So it would be commercial

Hours of Service - the amount of hours your allowed to drive after XX amount of hours of rest. That's all changed since I was last jamming gears. I don't even know what the hour limit is for driving, nor do I know the rest hour requirement. I think it was 10 on, 8 off when I was driving. Plus you weren't allowed more than 60 hours in a week regardless of the rest time.

If you think driving is tough, you should try doing it in MA. :noway: Every day there was a conflict with somebody ... or wires, low bridges, restricted roads, and addresses that you "Caahn't get to from heeyah"!

Hours of Service. LAW allows 11 hours driving in a 14 hour window then Must take 10 CONSECUTIVE hours off.

Must also take a 1/2 hour break during day before 8 hours being on duty.

They then have law of taken a 32 hour break after 60 hours in 7 days or 70 hours in 8 days.

The Commercial driving world is a Giant Headache.
