I put an Iron Cross bumper on my 2013 chevy today the bumper is for a 2500HD but its on my 1500 had to modify the brackets but can get it to line up as good as I want so I'm going to take it to our welding shop and fab up new bumper brackets I'm then going to put a HD grill and hood on my truck. I got the Iron Cross bumper for $600 regularly $2100 there's a small factory defect so that's why I got the HD bumper for my truck figured shit even if I got a go through the hassle of making new brackets its definitely worth it for the savings so I bought it.

I put yet another dent in my tailgate. On the inside, so not a real big deal .. but my roll-up tonneau no longer has a watertight seal to the gate. :banghead:

How did it happen you ask? Lost a lawn tractor straight out the back! My fault - yapping away with everyone while tying down is not good practice. No damage to the tractor, of course.

My trip to Orlando was great over the weekend. Truck ran great...miss the gas mileage of the old truck though. I got about 14-15 where as the old truck could still get around 20 mpg on regular vs e85. I may have gotten better if I didn't have to go 80 most of the way there to keep up with the caravan I was traveling with. I REALLY like the trans and rear gear set up on this truck. Truck never downshifted going up hills or around the slow guys except maybe 3 times. All three were times I got stuck and had to slow way down before I could pass. Even then it only went down ONE gear instead of 2 like the old truck would.
