What did you do with your truck/shop today

Had to put the 14 in a ditch after some guy decides to stand on his brakes. It was slick out and my truck slid, his didnt. Made a last minute maneuver into the ditch, which luckily wasn't deep or really muddy. Just gave it some gas and kept going. She pulled out in 2wd. Got home and only damage is mud on the tires. Thank goodness!

Not hating I like the tow mirrors on your truck, just thinking it would be a lot of fun could lead to death though

We used to lay on a sled and hold on to the rear bumper, or open the back doors and hold on to the pillars and ski along on our feet. I'd be so pissed if my kids did these things!

I was paying attention. His truck came to a complete stop. It was a regular cab long bed gmt800 so yeah my CC short bed is a bit heavier lol. Honestly if it wasn't for my collision alert I would have ran into him. I was kind of dazed because I was tired

I rolled over to 120k coming back from the mountains. Truck is running great.

However, my cabin fan started making noise, and my radio shut off and wouldn't come back on, both RIGHT after it rolled over. Radio is back, but the fan is still making a noise like a leaky window.

120k that thing is still a baby yet.

Yep a baby with a radio that doesn't always work. Sometimes if I press the defrost button or turn on the bed light it will turn back on. I don't get it. The radio has been resetting itself randomly when I turn on the pickup sometimes ever since I've had it. But the radio dying while driving or refusing to turn on is new.

Am guessing they are on the same circuit & either loose connection or bad ground.

Had to replace a side marker turn signal on the Pete. Somehow I made the turn signal stay lit 100% of the time & short out the front marker light from working at all.

Kept screwing with it & turned out to be the ground on the turn signal was the issue. The point is I would check the defrost wiring/connections where possible.

That's what I'm going to do, check all the connections. It's strange to me that the light and not just defrost will turn it back on. Everything but the radio is fully functional when it's cut out. Additionally, I had the radio come back on in acc mode shutting off the pickup, and then die again when I turned it on. Maybe a RAP issue? I need it to quit working so I can test for RAP power when it's not functional.

My first thought is the BCM is going bad, and cutting juice to the radio until something spikes the voltage and wakes it up. Seems unlikely though. The next possibility is a bad connection somewhere. And I guess another possibility is just a crazy radio.
