So here's another curve ball. After looking again after work I've found LT275 6ply AT3's for $7 more per tire compared to the LT265, and the gift card is $70 instead of $60. Now I'm leaning toward those. Ugh, idk what to go with.

My truck came stock with 235/75R16 Wrangler ST's. Scarier than clowns when driving in the rain

Goodyears wranglers are terrible tires.. I strongly dislike Goodyear tires

Im either going with AT3's or HT3's in a 275 when i get my next set of wheels

If you want good snow performance studded snow tires are what you need. Mud grips will get you moving but you can forget about stopping lol.

Go with the 10 ply. For me the 10 ply are well worth it.

i think 275/70 would clear but I'm not sure.

Probably going with the 10ply ATP. I'd like to get something different. Everyone has the AT3.

Daryl, you did the right thing in not getting that wheel/tire combo. That style doesn't go well at all with the 2006 front end, its too round for your sharp angles.

 

And its interesting how we all have very different requirements for our trucks and tires. My latitude tours are used on pavement 99% of the time and do an excellent job regardless of the weather. Off road capabilities are limited but that's not a priority.

I ended up getting the AT3's again. I've had them before, and really liked them so I figured I'd play it safe, and stay with what I know I'll like.

I'm about to purchase new tires as well. But mine are in a different class. 37x13.5r17 Toyo M/T's [emoji1]

Actually there was only one part of the hill I needed four wheel drive. I got up the other times with just the locker kicking in.
