What did you do with your truck/shop today

94°+55% humidity=115° heat index. Not doing a darn thing outside today! Will occasionally look outside to check on my truck

That's about all I did yesterday myself. Saturday turned out to be nearly 100* and 75% humidity. The whole family wasn't feeling good by Saturday night.

Yesterday we took a drive up to Payson for a day trip. We had nothing better to do and getting out of the heat was a plus.

There are a few long 6-7% grade climbs that were "fun" but I didn't have any problems, the truck pulled like a damn train!

She drank a little more than a quarter of a tank in approx 170 miles, so I'm pretty sure I had a range of more than 400 highway miles.

Just got back from picking up a uniform and patches from the Boy Scout store in town. My son is starting Tiger Scouts and I've volunteered to be his Den Leader, being an old Eagle Scout myself I felt obligated to help out. I've been involved with scouting since I was a Tiger is 1985.

I'm surprised at my mileage since the road to Payson is all up hill with just a few downhills for the cars to take a break.

And once again I ran into occasions where my temp gauge went down to the quarter mark. Its still a trip to see it move backwards!

And while we where there I did have the chance to drive on some easy dirt trails, which got my truck filthy by some people's standards ( aka fender wells and sidewalls lol).
