I know of no other color combo besides black and chrome ... :D

Then you're stuck in a groove, live a little or maybe you are color blind in which case stick with what works for you. Black is not a color, black is a lack of color.

Easy there, Terrance. I know it's fallen out of style with the younger generation - that's why I posted it ... TO BE FUNNY. :sigh:

I don't mind black and chrome, as long as it's done tastefully, and on other people's vehicles. I hate the care black paint requires, there's only one time it looks great and that's right after it rolls out of the paint booth. After that it's all down hill.

It's a better look then the boring black wheel trend.

It is hard to write the tone of voice...:seeya:All good, I was just being sassy. Also maybe because I hate black. Only had one black ( a 2008 Cobalt ) seems like it was always dirty even after I just washed it. Did I mention I hate black. Here is the order of my life time vehicles.

1948 GMC pickup navy blue ( Wish I still had it )

1962 Chevrolet Caprice white

1971 Chevrolet BelAir sky blue

1975 Chevrolet Corvette white

1963 Chevrolet Corvette white

1979 Chevrolet Monza coupe brown

1979 Chevrolet Citation Navy blue ( somewhat of a mistake )

1959 Chevrolet Corvette Royal blue with white insert

1983 Chevrolet S10 Gold

1984 Chevrolet Corvette Ruby red

Then the family arrived...

1991 ChevroletLumina Van Bluish

1993 GMC S15 extended Forest green

1998 Chevrolet Malibu Maroon ( mistake )

1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue forest green ( mistake #2 )

2000 Chevrolet Sonoma 4 door Pewter

2004 Mitsubishi Outlander silver ( Best vehicle ever )

1978 Susuki Carry white

Then University

2007 Chevrolet Cobalt gold ( daughter #1 )

2010 Cobalt Ruby red ( daughter #2 )

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt black

2004 Mitsubishi Outlander navy blue

2011 Chevrolet Silverado silver

2016 Buick Encore Cocoa brown

2016 Chevrolet Trax Sunset orange

I may have missed a few...

Definitely a pain in the ass to keep 'em clean, that's for sure. But, when they're clean, there's nothing better looking, IMO.

My wife’s gold car doesn’t look bad dirty, still looks better clean. I’ve had all colors, the remedy for keeping them clean monthly pass at my car wash usually twice a week. Twelve dollars a month. Once a year quick detail spray wax, good to go.

Went to finally pick up my truck.  I guess it's not meant to be.  Right off the bat noticed the truck was dirty, was told they were going to wash it (would have let it slide just to finally have my truck back).  Paint damage on the driver's front fender that I'm reasonably sure wasn't there before.  It's been 77 days though so maybe I'm having trouble remembering what my truck looks like.  Passenger taillight cracked causing condensation.  Instead of calling me either the dealer or the drive line shop cut the lock on my hitch to remove it so someone owes me a new lock.  Then the kicker is, a dead bird in the slit in the bumper for the transmission cooler.  I don't even know if it's really fixed or not.

Sorry to hear that, man. That SUCKS!

I sound like a broken record, but hopefully anyone that gets mad at me for harping on GM dealerships will read this post, and understand that this right here is just ONE instance out of HUNDREDS that I've either personally dealt with, family and friends have dealt with, or I have read about via online forums, or chatted directly with techs about.

GM obviously is NOT a healthy company - they either need to do a complete reset of how they conduct business, or just do the world a favor and SHUT DOWN, and let someone else that can handle auto making rebuild something better from the ashes.

Brought my truck home today.  I still don't know if it's me imagining problems or the crap roads or both.  Neighbor and the service guy took a 20-30 minute test ride with me and they both said it rode great.  I think there's still a little shake 70-80+ but again, could be roads and my imagination.  If it gets worse then I'll know it's the truck.

I put 32 gallons in it, feels odd seeing $92 for a fill up with 32.xx gallons vs the 20-22 max gallons of the 4 vehicles I've had in the last 2.5 months.   Paint is going to be corrected when the pain comes in, their paint guy didn't have my specific color with him.  They say they buffed the tail light but both my neighbor (body repair 50+ years) and I think they actually swapped the taillight.  Neighbor said he pushed at the area of the crack yesterday and it gave, there is also no condensation in the "new" tail light which also leads me to believe they changed it vs buffing it.  Still call BS on their claim that the condensation was because of me having LED bulbs.  While it is true LEDs can lead to condensation it was too convenient that the condensation was exactly where the crack was.  I guess time will tell, headlights and other taillight have zero condensation.

They couldn't find my tag sticker and registration, neighbor found it stuffed in the glove box on the way home so that's however much it costs for a reprint (I think $40ish?) saved.  My pin lock must have been in a set, found another lock that was keyed the same in my lock drawer so that'll do until I get a different pin lock setup.  Then again I've never had a hitch stolen from my receiver so probably not worth the money and effort?  Apparently the dealer's mechanic is the one who cut the lock off...

When I got home from work I replaced the 2 third brake light led bulbs and one of the brake light bulbs that I've had since middle of November, if they go again they'll be out of warranty so might have to look for another LED company.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll clean the interior, it's filthy.  Maybe run the new power cable for my dash cam through the trim and dash so I can get rid of the one I use now.  It has a huge 12v plug that makes using that cup holder a pain.

Went to the Michigan International Auto Show this afternoon.   Wasnt what I expected.
Basically just an indoor Dealer lot.  Not many concept, prototypes.  I got 2 tickets free through Chevy Truck Legends.  Normally $12 each but it cost me $10 to park.

This was out there by an assesories dealer.  The topper lifts up with four cylinders one on each corner.
