I just modded up my Weathertech mudflaps with extensions, going hunting in a few weeks and have to drive about 80 miles on gravel.  Also,  I ordered a set of Go Rhino RB20 running boards, I liked shadrickjm's so much I had to get a set for myself.

This morning I repaired a 2005 Sierra Duramax HD cluster and a 2005 Silverado Duramax HD cluster , also sold them each a remote and programmed them to their trucks. Then repaired a FOB ( 15252034 ) for a 2008 Cobalt.  Pretty good day so far.

Cleaned out the garage and put away all the lawn equipment back in the small shed. Put all the lawn chairs back out, put the generator away along with the camp stove.  Now to put the rest of the extra fuel in the vehicles when they need it.  I got 20 gallons now to use.

Wagner Thermoquiet pads, by chance? I know of a tech who says he used to use those exclusively in his shop ... until every single one came back about a year later, squeaking and squealing like crazy.

If the squeal comes back, grab a bottle of Permatex Ceramic Extreme (the purple stuff), and use that anywhere the pads contact the calipers. https://www.amazon.com/Permatex-24125-Ceramic-Extreme-Lubricant/dp/B0018PSASU

I've lost count of the number of GM trucks from '99-'12 that have rear brake & E-brake issues. They should've stuck with drums. My '07 has drum rears, and that's about the only part of the truck that hasn't given me any grief.

Look alot better than mine, that's for sure. They didn't look much better when they were 9, either.

Changed the gear oil in the Volvo. First time in my life I've ever seen a filter screen in a diff cover! Solid aluminum cover, too. I love this car more and more every time I work on it. Forgot to take a pic of the cover after I cleaned it. The differential looks just like a GM G80. 4:11 ratio - needs it to get out of it's own way, lol. 114 crank HP - about the only thing I can complain about.

Sure makes you wonder why Ford bought them ... HMMMMMM. Too good, maybe? Same with GM & Saab. "You take this one, I'll take that one" . Only reason this seems so plausible is because of the over-engineered crap everyone produces today. On that note, I just saw a Cadillac that needed a steering rack ... and REPROGRAMMING before it would work. ?

I was about to do the same thing with the rusty gas I pumped out of the neighbor's '03 Sable he entered in the derby. I was going to strain it and dump it in his Dodge, but he was too nervous about it ... so it'll go in my '94 s10 plow truck.

Can't believe this thing ran - the fuel line was kinked 90°! I was wondering why it took 3 hours for the fuel pump to move 6 gallons out, LOL.

Topped my truck off with the left over gas that I have for the generator.

I usually do something along this line with my mower gas, at the end of October.  Surrendered my 2=stroke gas to the neighborhood landscapers, today, when they came by to clean up my yard, lawn equipment is still baried from our move, haven’t had the chance to get in the garage and clean/set-it-up, since the accident.

When I was a teenager, my dad and I would occasionally go to the junk yard for parts for his 72 Datsun pickup, and drain gas from some of the cars/trucks that had the parts we needed.  We would strain it coming out of the tank and again going into his truck’s tank.  BUT, definitely strain it putting it in the next tank.

Meant to ask, has everything healed up?
