What did you do with your truck/shop today

Did the inner tube between the leaf spring fix today. Went up North this past weekend and after driving around 50 miles of logging roads sounded like my rear end was going to fall off. Was kinda embarrassing my buddy's tundra was quite as a church mouse.

Welcome to my world. Rear suspension squawks and rattles, and my interior squeaks and rattles.

Anyone that's ridden in my truck now drives a Ram. :lol:

Took another load of tree trimmings to the dump. Neighbor wanted to borrow my trash cans to put it out for yard waste. Told him why just toss it in my bed and I'll take it down for you way easier than trying to get everything to fit in some trash cans. Trimmed my trees a little more so we ended up with a bed full to the bed rails. We got back and he asked if I needed money for gas, of course me being the smart a that I am I told him why, I didn't burn a single drop of gas so no gas money needed :-D

Hurricane prep is always fun!

Just got back from a 600 round trip from last weekend at the in-laws, yesterday. Took off stock wheels and put my 305's back on. Worth the swap, trip up there I got 16 mpg. On the way back I go 18 mpg!! I was surprised!! I found that 72-73 mph was my sweet spot on the freeway. I guess I can get decent mpg out of the 6.2L.

Cleaned the truck out. Good chance it may be repossessed. getting critically ill and a long slow recovery without a job sucks. But oh well, it is what it is.

Sorry to hear that. I went through a couple times along those lines. It's amazing how easy it is to hide your vehicle if you want to hang on to it for a bit longer. I disabled OnStar, pulled the battery cables etc. Talked to gmac while this was going on and they volunteered they knew it wasn't at my house. Yet there it was in the polebarn lol. Hopefully thinks get better for you!!

Traded my 13.9 l/100 2011 Silverado 2 weeks ago on a 2016 AWD Trax 7.1 l/100. I loved my Silverado but it was way too big for my 5'5'' height. It was hard to get in and hard too jump out. Got into a 5 year younger vehicle for just $200. I really like the 2016 AWD TRAX LT2. Should be a good winter beater.;

Yes and even though I sold my 07 Cobalt ( Coby7 ) last week I still plan to help people out and to keep moderating that forum. All the haters said I couldn't salvage that forum 7 years ago, yet it has ballooned to a large amount of members. I weeded the bad members then it took off.
