What did you do with your truck/shop today

Traded my 13.9 l/100 2011 Silverado 2 weeks ago on a 2016 AWD Trax 7.1 l/100. I loved my Silverado but it was way too big for my 5'5'' height. It was hard to get in and hard too jump out. Got into a 5 year younger vehicle for just $200. I really like the 2016 AWD TRAX LT2. Should be a good winter beater.;

My mom got a similar ding in her new Subaru. People in MA have ZERO respect in parking lots ...

One of my buddies referred her to a mobile dent repair guy - sounds like the same thing you did there.

Nice. I was surprised when they said it could possibly be under $100 for the repair. I haven't seen a body repair done for under $500 in years! :lol:

Must be magnetic. My mom got a new Impreza in March (first new car since I was born- so it was a big thing) and someone hit the back and took off. Cracked the bumper. It goes in in a few weeks. What gets me is that she parks the car in the parking lot of the church next to the house (the church owns the house and it has no driveway of its own) and that is where it likely happened. Makes ya really have zero faith in people.

Seems like people purposely aim for new cars these days. I can take our 940 out and park right up front at a store, and never find any damage. Take the Silverado out & do the same, and I'll find new scratches and dings ...

The Silverado ain't new, but it looks alot younger than it is.

I haven't had any good luck with the truck lately. Last night it felt like the torque converter was on its way out. About done with this truck after dumping money into a lift and new headlights and what not. My service writer is real cool and I think he'll be able to get it covered under warranty

Went to get a sticker today for the truck and the Marquis. Guess which one failed? :rolleyes:

Stupid incomplete monitors ... AGAIN. Gotta love OBD-II! :sick: My only vehicle that's a constant headache come inspection time ...

Either way, $70 donation to the state today for the 2 vehicles. :sick::sick::sick:

Filled the truck up only to go to the walmart neighborhood store and it was $0.10 less per gallon of diesel :( Bought a little bit of water, they're running out at a couple of the neighborhood stores in my area. Went to publix for cold cuts, bread, and more water. Apparently the panic buying hasn't hit that Publix yet lol. Truck is also above 67k miles now. If I can get this stupid shake/vibration figured out I'll be good to go.
