What did you do with your truck/shop today

My IAC valve came in today and I just replaced it. It's a quick 5 minute job including finding the correct star shaped allen key, and making sure you don't drop the bottom screw into an abyss. If you have a magnetic tipped screw driver use it for this job...

Awkward space for the bottom screw.

Tada! The morning start up will be the moment of truth and I'm expecting a much better idle. I've been told this is the solution.

Start up this morning in the lower 40's was marginally better than before, I'm kind of bummed about it. And even if I do get improved fuel mileage I spent $70/80 on the part alone so I won't recoup the cost. And I'm not sure if it was wishful thinking but she did feel smoother overall once she got over the initial hiccups. Edited by white1500

Well I've had to drive here and there all day today around base....dang AC isn't working and it's been in the 80s the last couple of days....very glad I have a white truck and got all my windows to work....

Lucky. Wish we were in the 80's

Looks like an A/C system overhaul in the near future [emoji106]

Got the truck to 115 mph today. I have the top speed governer turned off with the inTune. So I just wanted to get it over 99 mph. The truck had more in it, but on a narrow country road with deep ditches and a strong crosss wind, I didn't.

Might be getting an ar 15 today. Anyone got any expertise on them ? This is my first foray into assault rifle stuff

After yesterdays sketchy cold start today was the first perfect start in years!! No hesitation at all and I didn't need to modulate the throttle. Maybe its because of how I'm used to warming her up but maybe a few hundred rpm's more would be better, instead of today's 1,000.

What rpm's do those of you with a <2002 gmt800 see on a completely cold start??

it varies but it's usually around 1000 rpm give or take and then it settles down once she's warm
