Hack on this forum and silveradoss.com

i cant access silveradoss.com because of a hack it also says this site was affected. anyone know whats going on the silveradoss.com message read

The SilveradoSS.com forum is offline while we investigate and clean up after a politically motivated re-direct injection hack attempt.

 

GM-Trucks.com was also affected, however, we've since been able to reverse the damage. The hack attempt on this forum was more intensive and we are still working to fix the mess.

 

We expect to be back open tomorrow. We'll be upgrading the forum software and adding a new skin, so don't worry if the place looks a little different. We appreciate your patience.

I get the same message. I know the forum I own and run I can shut down for maintenance with a message like that, so its most likely legit.

Hi guys- yes, both forums were hacked with re-direct injection scripts. SilveradoSS.com more-so. We're still pulling out the redirect code injected on SilveradoSS.com. GM-Trucks.com, because it was running a newer version of invision board, was much easier to clean up.

 

We're spending our entire day working on this and assessing the extent of the "hack". Luckily, no data was lost and no user accounts were compromised. This was just a simple re-direct injection made by a group for political purposes. (The redirect took visitors to a site explaining a conspiracy) Many forums were hit yesterday and over the last few months.

 

We'll update with more information as we figure things out. Up until yesterday, only vBullietin sites have been affected. We were one of the first Invision Power Board forums to be attacked.

I'm glad we were told of the hacking, I was beginning to think someone managed to hack my account. I restarted my computer, reset password, blah, blah...yeah I was paranoid.
