I want to put a leveling kit on my 01 2500hd to corect the nose dive anybody install one of these? are they hard to install/adjust. any recomendations on which brand. i have seen them on ebay for 80.00 but i dont want it to break on me thanks

Dude, you have torsion bars....so just crank them up and see how much lift you can get. Those torsion key leveling kits are a waste of money....unless you want to go higher than cranking your stock keys will allow....which probably isn't a good idea anyway. Just be sure to crank the same number of turns on each side...and get the front end re-aligned afterwards.

Your right, just crank the bars 3 turns on the adjustment bolt on both sides this will give you about 2" of lift in the front, jack the front wheels off the ground before doing it, this will make it easier to turn the bolts. Dont forget the turn the headlight adjustment screw down about 2-3 full turns, this will also put your headlight aim back the stock height aim.

 

Just a side note, I cranked alot of bars and never got a front alighment and never had tire wear problems on any of the cranks I did and ive done alot. Now on the rack and pinion on the new trucks thats a differant story they need an alighnment afterwards.
