Does a 2012 1500 with HD tow package (K5L and Z82) have levelers?

Also has Z60 suspension. I haven't had the truck long enough yet to hook up the boat. I was wondering if the rear end lifted up when a load was placed on the trailer hitch much like my buddy's Tahoe.

On another thread I'm contemplating putting in a mild leveling kit (1.5" max). I really don't want the truck to look like an old Ford Explorer trudging down the road with its rear end dragging the ground when I have the boat hooked up.

From my experience with the air-ride:

My 07 tahoe was an LT so it didn't have it...but it had nav, sunroof, rear dvd, rear captains chairs, every option available to my knowledge.

My 08 LTZ didn't have nav, but other than that it was identical to the 07 with the addition of the air-ride.

The 07 never squatted when my boat was hooked up. It looked right on, and pulled like a champ.

The 08 I could always hear the pump kicking in sitting at stoplights, parking lots, boat ramps, etc. It annoyed me and it looked the same as my 07 did when it was hooked up. I felt like the air ride never once rode smoother and it was just one more expensive thing that could fail when it was out of warranty.

Just my $.02 on that part.

For the leveling kit....buy a zone, fatbobs, RC or any under the strut type spacer. They are s 2" lift in the front but you will still have a little bit of rake. If you want more rake you could get some GMT800 blocks for the rear and take yours out. That will give you at the bare minimum .75 inches of rake from front to back with the 2" level. It will probably give you more like 1 to 1.25 inches of rake though.

I myself did put on a 1.5 leveling kit on the front. But I noticed when I hooked up to my camper my truck dident set level and that really buged me so I put on a Air Ride system for the rear and I made it it ride alot better and sat level loaded.
