Train Horns

All I know if someone uses a train horn on me they should not be surprised if i over react and take a bat out of my box and remodel there truck and them if they decide to get in the way of the remodel they might become of the job. To me people with train horns are more disrespectful than people that straight pipe their truck and chop off the muffler.

Those types of people I always think are missing something in their lives and just want attention and to be the most annoying they can be for that attention. Maybe there dads did not give them that attention or they have a small penis lol .

That is all I am going to say on this thread now because I have offended a few people but its true their is no reason for a train horn besides for the attention and that attention is the wrong attention in less your motive is to really piss someone off but their is far easier ways to do that and less expensive ways.

Sounds like ya got anger issues

Hornblasters, I have a set of train horns. And an onboard compressor, I also got it "T'd" off at the compressor with a quick connect with a 50 foot coil hose tucked away in tool box in the box. Came in handy plenty of times as did the horns which I mounted pointing straight down behind the grill. Best $600 I spent on that truck, when people screw up they KNOW it. Ahahah

Also if you got the cash look into K5LA...authentic train horn, set you back over $1000 but the sound is amazing. Lol

Thats how i'm gonna wire mine. It will be useful to have onboard air for helper bags and reinflating tires

Ya, I have a few different connections with mine...I use it for the ride rites too. It has literally saved people's asses couple times with leaky tires zIn the middle of nowhere. I just used a momentary switch by my knees for the horns and a illuminated toggle for the compressor. Made a little wooden box in one corner on my tool box for the compressor, relays and wiring. Works good, even in -40 below.

To the OP check out eBay, they have decent prices on train horn/compressor kits.

train horns are for wimps...

the fun you could have on a foggy night.. :rollin:

Huh? I couldn't hear you. LOL

I used to have an air horn from a semi behind the grill of my last truck. Had some fun with that one. Not so much on the street to piss people off, but when passing someone I know in their yard. Or pulling in their driveway.

LMAO!!!! Could you imagine tailgating a slow driving blue hair and then zapping them with a fog horn??? They'd have a heart attack and die in the fastlane.

For the best info on trainhorns, go to www.trainhornforums.com

Here's a link to my page / install on there.

I have upgraded since and now have 2- compressors in the back to put air back into the tanks faster.

Besides using this setup for my horns i use the air all the time for side jobs that require nail gun use, air grinder , impact , and ratchet.

Last year i remodeled a kitchen and bath and used noting but my truck to run my air tools. Was so nice not to have to lug the pancake on a job site and just be able to run a line to the tank and ready for anything.

These are the updated pics that arent the above album yet.

Short vid of my horn after leaving the Chevy truck parade here in lockport NY.

BTW this year they added a loudest horn contest, and i won 2 gift cards :)

Here's a guy i met at the parade 2 years ago. I envy his setup!

I have this identical horn. Hopefully i can get mine tuned like this one day. I will have to mount it up top tho and let the sound be free instead of the restricted / hidden setup i run now..
