My uncle is a geneologist and has done a fair amount of research on my gradpa (his dad). I sent him a message asking where one could go look for this info. Give me a day or 2 and I will let you know

If you go to the USS Saratoga,s website, it may list all crew and officers from her tours, Most US capital ships have quite informative sites and links to sites that can give a pretty neat history lesson, My dad served aboard the USS Thornhill (DE) in wwll ,Pacific theater, and my brother was a radar operator aboard USS America,. I also have a cousin the served as LOX Engineer aboard USS Enterprise, I,ve found tons of info about them from the sites
