Planning to upgrade the shocks on my pickup soon, and I was thinking I can't be the only one! Would be cool to get some opinions on a variety of shocks for myself and others. So I thought I'd post and ask what shocks you have put on and how they performed. How do they ride compared to stock? And of course, what did you pay?

I put cheap Rough Country shocks on my 1990 last winter, and for that truck they're great, it rides like a champ, but I was wanting to go up a shelf or two for the 2006.

I live in OKC and have been waiting 3 years for the new I-40 crosstown to get completed to replace my shocks. They got really beaten up after running over the old 4-miles of hell that was the old crosstown. With the smooth new highway, time to upgrade!

My Silver is a 2008, 4x2, so don't need any aggressive resi's just some good replacement shocks that will give a great ride and maybe give a little better towing\hauling control.

KSTruckCountry, great idea for a post. So anyone out there with some wisdom to share on the topic?
