Sick to My Stomach - Hail Storm

is that air bags in your truck or did you just lower it ..... looks like the most useless truck on earth but you have the money to do it so what ever i guess.

I'm sure you heard the old saying, "its better for people to THINK you are ignorant than to open your mouth and remove all doubts"

To answer your question my useless truck has a static suspension, and I have used it to pull my car on a trailer (over 6,000 lbs) up and down the mountains in California. You are right when my net income is over $6,000/month I can do what ever I want with my money.

No I have not heard the saying before. Looked up static suspension all I got out of it was lowered suspension. Not really sure how that works . Woudnt the weight push your truck down more on the ball like 900 pounds at 15% of 6000 pounds . I am pretty sure 6000 pounds on a 1500 is over your rating for towing . I could be wrong tho. Can you please explain to me if lowered supension improves towing capicty or lowers it . I dont know what the ins and outs are . Do you have all your leafs still . What is your payload capcity doing that with your truck now . What are your tires rated for?

It looks like if your truck goes down like 3 iches you will be on your bumper stops . How do you go over any pot holes or speed bumps . What a about a hill with a incline that is steep ? What grade of hill can you go up with out hitting ?

Where I come from your truck would have alot of problems with are horrable roads. So to me your truck is useless . Its like taking a jeep and lowering it .

What is your job its not much better than a highschool teacher for pay ?

You own a nice truck and I assume a car since you towed with it . Must live on a tight budget or your one of the Americans if interest rates go up a little your going bankrupted . I love your House market right now really cheap compared to Canada wish it was like that here.

No need to criticize, if you dont like his setup just dont comment and move on. Everyone has their own preferences. Now back on topic.

@DoMDrty I personally think your truck is very nice and has been tastefully modified.

My cousin lost his home in KY thanks to those storms, count your blessing that all you might have had was hail damage.

Thanks, and you are right. The bad thing about the area I live in is not many homes have basements. That is probably true for a lot of areas in the south.

Well I definitely made it out easier than others. Just as an update, I detailed my truck this weekend and under certain light I have found 4 small dents. I cant even feel them with a finger/hand. I bet 99% of the people who even tried to look couldnt see them.

This truck didnt make it :( Pretty sad stuff what everyone is going through. They are still no where even near getting back to normal.

Got hail in Chico yesterday; fortunately it started its' 45 minute "reign" right as my wife finished pulling her Traverse in to the garage after running afternoon errands. Silverado never left; I was too busy with taxes and other fun.

I bet you that Silvy Started, Ran, and DROVE from that spot; Insurance Company Will Total it, but you get the right Collision Tech who Knows his stuff working on it (and LOTS of LKQ/Keystone Parts), and you can get her to look like the Day she Left the Factory!
