The AutoCals that we received, needed a software downgrade, in order to work with the current software release (ie. would not be compatible with what you would download on your end). We shipped out a large number of them before being aware of this, but have held the rest, until the update became available.

This will save headache on both ends. The rest are going out tomorrow.

I believe Superchips is the only hanheld that you can turn off/on AFM. Through the AutoCal, Justin with BB Performance will need to tweek it in his tune file to your liking. But a custom tune like Blackbear is definitely better than any handheld off the shelf tuner.

Diablo Predator will shut off AFM also.

Hi Jen,

I received my AutoCal....I think I was one of the ones that went out without the software update. Justin sent me a file to switch back to the old config...but could not get it to work. Never the less maybe I had the new software update as I went to updates on the EFILive website and downloaded the most recent config.

As someone asked, how do I know if my AutoCal has the correct software?

Anyway after waiting a LONG TIME!!!!!! (I believe it was EFILive's fault) I received my AutoCal. Logged data and emailed the logged file to Justin and BB just now.

I hope my tune makes me happy. Since I paid for my AutoCal and tune back the middle of January (Jan. 13) and still have not got a tune in my truck.

I believe that Justin has taken care of all the folks affected by this update. Otherwise, should be status quo for you folks who have had your AutoCals. Just check for updates on the EFILive site every so often.

Hey Jenna, so you have any more Autocals in stock, or are they all spoken for?

I do believe we have a few left in this batch, but another order has already been made.

I looked into your email (and see your purchase date of Jan 30th). You must have been using the incorrect program to try to "downgrade" the program. The EFILive Explorer program has the F12: Firmware tab to it. Without that "downgrade", tune files will be the problem, not the log file

In your email, you sent over your log file, but the tune files are also needed, Read 1 E38 and Read 2 T43.

Yes, the AutoCal backlog was out of our control, we could only keep our customer's updated on the situation unfortunately.
