Recommended Posts

Im going to swap my 2 inch blocks with a set of 4" i got. The oem shocks are working fine with the 2" , But im getting +4" shocks to go with the bigger blocks, The shocks wont be here for 2 weeks.. but i have the time today to swap blocks, Can i run the truck with no shocks for a short time or will it be to rough??

Just driving around town, at slower speeds...it should be okay. I wouldn't tow anything, go flying down the interstate, or go blasting down country roads. That yukon is one heavy unit, and it's going to handle quite differently without shocks.

No way in hell I would run without shocks as you have nothing to control bounce. If you went around a turn and hit the bump while in the turn the rear axle will start bouncing therefore losing contact with the road and I dont have to tell you what will happen next. Just wait and do the job right.

Not to mention it will beat the hell out of your truck. As far as the wheel hop durring turns just put traction bars on it im sure thatd look great ha ha ha. I remember i had a set of those on my nova and i cant say they made a big diffrence.
