Truck Clearance Hieght

Does any one have a overall hieght number for their truck (onstar shark fin included) with a 2 inch level, 275/60/20 tires and a 1.5 inch body lift?

 

My garage at work has a clearance of 6'6" and I have measured on my truck (same set up without the body lift) and it looks like I would just be able to clear with the addition of a body lift but thought it was worth checking what somo other trucks measured out to.

what do you drive?

 

mine has a 3" body lift, 34" tires, and the t-bars cranked 2 inches to level and i just barely cleared 6'-8" garage (barely as in i got out in the garage to look- im talking a few inches). the radio antenna didnt, but the onstar and xm antennas did. its also an extended cab long bed. the scariest part was the inclines and declines to the next level.

 

is there a standard for measuring heights in a parking garage? because think of a triangle and the height from the obtuse angle (the beginning of the ramp incline) to the midpoint of the hypotenuse (hypotenuse being my truck)- do they take that height into account, or just the height on flat ground?

Yep the truck model might help. 2010 GMC Half-ton Crew Cab.

 

Good point on how they measure that clearnce figure and I wish I knew becuase the ramps are rather steep for this one.
