What is in your Zombie survival kit??

So I love The Walking Dead (both TV series and comics) and can't wait for Feb. 12. A friend of mine sent me this link to a new KA-BAR knife that they are making.

I know a lot of people on the site like the zombie stuff and watch The Walking Dead so I got to thinking. What would your weapons of choice be?

I'm thinking I would definitely have some type of knife like the one above, a pistol (silenced if I could), a rifle (something like a M4) or shotgun and then a crossbow or some similiar silenced weapon. I would probably also have some sort of long range weapon as well.

I've got too many options that I would want to have so these are my top choices.

So what would you carry with you in the event of the Zombie invasion.

You have to destroy the brain the flame cannon will only make walking Molotov cocktails out of zombies.

Being a marine I'm used to carrying a full combat load. A good knife is always a necessity, I'd also carry a usas-12 shotgun with regular buckshot in couple mags, and slugs in another or an AR-10 which uses a .308 round and I know I can hit targets at 600 yards no problem with that. Of course have a tactical sling on rifles and shotguns for quick transitions and a magazine drop pouch since can't afford to lose those. A good sidearm pry two honestly a 9mm and a .40. A pack with supplies and extra ammunition and quite possibly a paintball gun that shoots lead rounds or a bow since its quicker and get more distance than a crossbow. For up close an aluminum baseball bat cored and filled with lead shot at the tip to add more momentum and weight to the hit. All that would fit in a back pack sized combat pack with the bow and bat strapped to the sides. Plus I would have at least one other person(partner) at all times preferably a fat one so I can out run them haha.

Sad thing is I already have a tactical team made up with a few friends consisting of who's going to be the long distance designated marksman, support/heavy hitter, and couple others. Can you guess who the heavy hitter is

remington 870 super mag, sawed off pump (for close encounters). winchester model 94 carbine in 30-30. some sort of assault rifle. hk usp tactical 45 and an hk usp compact 9mm. a truck with a camper shell and a transfer flow tank in the bed for extended range and assorted camping and survival gear.

I would just need a hunting weapon, fuel, and a warm coat. Never saw a Zombie in subzero weather. It's always Hollywood type weather, haha. There is a federal prison about 30 minutes from here with everything a non zombie could ever need. Wait till the zombies freeze out and you are safe.

Just gonna grab all of my hunting gear, the rifles, the bow, the wife, the kid, and all the provisions we have in the house, then Im headed to colder weather, like Roofer said. However, since they are dead already, they cant freeze to death, so Im headed to the permafrost. At least if they come that far, they will freeze stiff.

I'm fortunate enough to live in Army barracks located on a secure compound. The compound is guarded by at least 10 armed gate guards at all times, loaded with shotguns, pistols, and dogs. They also drive Chevy Tahoes, excellent for plowing zombies down. There's an Armory located downstairs, and in the case of a zombie outbreak, I'll call up the armorer. There's a bunch of M16s, M4s, and M9s. In the case that the majority of the world becomes a baron wasteland, I'll raid the shoppette and grab most of the food, alcohol, and cigarettes (which will good for bartering later).
