Can this be done

Recommended Posts

I have a 2" Daystar top out spacer kit on my truck . I want a little more height .

CAN I add a 2" RC kit to the bottom and keep my top out spacer ?

What will it do to ride and handling ?

Then I would ad a 2" bigger blocks in the rear to get it back leveled out.

It currently sits level at 39" at all 4 corners. Stock was 37F / 39R. I would like to get to 40-41" at all 4 corners .

Any other suggestions would be appreciated .

Thank you

Somone else will chime in soon but from previous posts, I believe you will be putting the front cvs at too much of an angle with the setup you are suggesting. Most put the limit you should do to the front with spacers at about 2.5". To get 4"s of lift in the front you'll probably have to install a 4" kit which will probably involve dropping the front diff. I may be wrong and again someone will be chiming in soon I'm sure.

OK thanks Guys for the advise . I do not want a body lift because I will have to CUT and then REPAIR the pats of the LineX bed liner , plus I thin it looks silly with the frame hanging out the bottom . Yes it would be the way to go coat wise , but also would like to improve my suspension and give it more height. Wish there was a bolt on lift that I could unbolt and take it off at trade in time so I would not loose so much value from the lift.

I like the 4" kit Nuke has .

I will talk to a different friend that own a frame and axle shop to get his thoughts .

I may look into the bolt on Ready lift kit system 4".
