I just don't get it.

 

Don't get me wrong. I love fast cars. I own a Corvette in addition to my Silverado and frankly, most of the time I drive it like I stole it.

 

But I just don't get paying all this money to hop up a friggin' TRUCK. They weigh almost three tons, their center of gravity is way the hell up in the air, it takes an acre to turn 'em around. Why would you spend $16K on a Callaway Supercharger when you can buy a nice used Corvette that will actually handle?

 

I'm not criticizing anyone here. I'm sure it's my lack of understanding, but like I said, I just don't get it. I want a truck to haul lumber from Home Depot, to move furniture, to get plants from the nursery, to commute to work. If I want to go fast, I go home and change cars.

 

 

I get what you are saying, but its still cool other than the grandpa package.

 

Jackalope, I don't have to change cars. DoMDrty, check out the grandpa package gettin' on the highway.

hell yea man! If that were in my price range when i bought my truck i would be driving one now.

It wasn't in my price range when I bought it either, but I figured that if I'm old, fat , bald and married that I might as well be broke too. :dunno:

 

You are married and had to buy the truck to be broke...lol

 

Just joking all, no insults, after all I'm married too and will be smacked for this comment all the same later.
