Readylift w/MB Torque wheels/Nitto Trail Grappler tires

Recommended Posts

What's up guys....i haven't posted in awhile but i got my truck in August and am just now getting to the mods. I couldn't stand the LS steel wheels and p245 tires so they had to go. Took me awhile to decide. I had the 2.25 readylift kit installed on Saturday and immediately went to Discount tire afterwards to get my wheels and tires put on. I went with MB Torque 18inch wheels (+10 offset i believe) w/285/65r18 Nitto Trail Grapplers. I didn't take any measurements before the level as i completely forgot about it. The truck feels a lot taller than i thought it would be, but this is the 1st level kit i've ever had so. When they mounted the tire on the wheel and put it on the truck they showed me how it would rub....but they had the right side of the truck jacked up so it wasn't sitting level. Once they put on all 4 it does not rub at all. It is very close when have the wheel completely turned. I have a steep driveway and backing out does not rub either.

I also painted the bowtie black and took off the black (valance?) piece under the front bumper. I may do a little bit more debadging and only keep silverado on the tailgate and remove the ones on the door. The big giant bowtie on the back was gone the 1st day i got the truck.

I am waiting on new centercaps from discount tire as the ones it came with didn't screw on. They for some reason were just clip ons that didn't seem very secure.

Here are some pics.....i'll get more once i get the centercaps on.

thanks guys!

They are silver wheels and has a partial chrome center cap. I'll try to get some good pics this weekend. My driveway is pretty steep so i'll take some on a flat surface. They actually ordered American Outlaw center caps instead of the MB ones so it has a pirate on it lol (they are apparently made by the same company). I actually like these more then the ones they were supposed to come with.

The angles seem fine, the pics may make it appear to be taller bc my driveway isn't flat. So it may appear like it has a Cali-lean, but it doesn't...sits perfectly level.
