I like my HD better too, for some 496 cube reason.    But back in it's day that Vortec V6 was the standard by which all other manufacturer's measured their V6's by and then spawned the V8 Vortec versions.

 

Joe, Yep, isn't it pretty.  I loved that black plenum cover with neon orange "VORTEC" logo.  Matter of fact, the original logo came off.  So I have it in my room right above my black light...it looks tits at night.  I'll post pics later.
