What tranny is in a '93 1-ton Tubo Diesel ?

My father bought a truck and is now having problems with the tranny and was needing to know what tranny is in it to begin searching for another one.

 

The truck is a Turbocharged Diesel 1-ton Dually. 5speed manual

 

Any ideas?

I believe that would be a NV-4500, it has a granny low and overdrive high, right?

 

Glovebox code should be MW3, if I'm right.
