Hi new here sorry if this isn't the right place to ask but does  anyone know if you can swap a 6.0 into a truck that had a 6.2? Or would it need to be the the while drive line ?

Have a 6.0 truck witj a bad frame and found a beautiful 6

2 truck just curious as to if I can make that work without to much trouble

Why not keep the 6.2?  It's a much more powerful engine.

Yes, you can easily swap as long as they are the same generation.  Is your 6.0 an LY5 or L96?

I should be picking up a 2013 Sierra SLT with an L9H this afternoon.

Awesome!  Post up some pics when you can.  Mine still make me smile every time they are driven, love that motor!

I put these oem Sierra 17”s on my XL Denali.  Need to find another set or something similar.

Those chrome clad wheels are 20s or 18s?  You can put the 17" N88s on there, they're everywhere pretty inexpensively and often in good condition from sitting in a shed since new.

Did you pick it up yet?

I collect VINs of the 2012 and 2013 6.2s and I have only 5 like yours, assuming it is not an NHT.  Been doing it since 2021.

I should pick it up Monday.  The chrome ones on it are 18’s.  I’ve only found one set of the 17’s I have on my XL and the guy wants $600 with bald tires.

Awesome!  Post up some pics when you can.  Let us know the payload capacity on that door jamb sticker if you don't mind.  My CCs is 1,805 pounds and it too is an SLT.  I'm excited for you!  LOL
