OK, after driving with new gear ratio for about 4-5 hours on both highway and around town I have went from 17-19 average on highway to 14-16 depending on where my foot is at. In the city I was 13-16 and that has not really changed.

It seems like the throttle cable,if it had one which it does not, has been shortened and much less effort is needed to get up to speed. I mean you just barely have to breath on the gas pedaled to reach 30-60 mph. On the highway 65-75 is nothing.

Before anyone ask,yes I did recalibrate me gear ratio setting and it is dead on with my Garmin navigation in the truck. It's just hard to believe the difference as I was already really impressed with my trucks performance.

I figure once I am adjusted to the new gearing my mpg will get somewhat better, not what I had but better.

Just found this forum. Love it. Had a 09 5.3 cc, 3.42 4x4 BBP tune. Stumbled on a '12 w/6.2 NHT,3.73. Factory GM CK988 rims. Same exact truck, just 3 years newer , less miles, and the magnificent and wonderful 6.2!! Wasn't really looking but it was sitting at a Ford dealer. Pulled the trigger back in Nov. Already did the BBP tune on the new one. Wow. This thing is amazing. Justin at BBP is the man! Totally recommend him! My mileage has been a bit lower than what has been reported on here, could be the -20 temps we have been having here in MN. Learned a ton from this forum. Just got done reading all 49 pages. Thanks guys.

I will get some pics up as soon as the sloppy salt filled Minneapolis roads clear up. BTW, today was the first day above 40 since sometime last November…dry roads, one of the first times I have really been able to let this thing gallop…me likeee.

I've read not quite half of the 48 pages and ran outta time so I'll just ask:

What is factory HP /TQ rating of L9H running E85?

I know 403 and 414 running premium 91 but could not find the E85 numbers.

What power numbers have some put down with BB E85 tune on stock or bolt on truck with L9H?

From looking at the 6.2 file for my 2013 6.2 I would guess you would lose power with E85. WOT timing advance is actually reduced in the 6.2 file vs. an increase in the 5.3.

That's odd. The 2014's have published numbers from GM showing power numbers with both fuels. E85 results somewhere between 15-20+ higher both HP and TQ

We are talking about the L9H here Ryan

I understand, sorry to get off topic. In my original post in this thread I was asking for E85 power numbers from the L9H and got sidetracked.

Still hoping someone has the information and will post.
