It should not matter how much noise a vehicle makes, a person needs to engage their brain and LOOK for potential hazards when on foot. Electric drive vehicles are only dangerous to the dummies.

Right, people don't even pay attention anymore when walking. Every time I drive in the city you'll see countless people cross the street, jaywalk ect and not even make eye contact with the driver to know its safe. When I was younger we ran when we heard or saw a car coming. People just aren't cautious anymore even the kids in my neighborhood don't move a muscle when I'm driving this beast down the road and they're playing on the street.

i disagree with the electric quiet thing. unless the exhaust is modded you rarely hear the engine and exhaust coming at you- instead you hear the tires on the road and the car pushing through the air.

at <5 mph you dont even really hear a normal car. thats why you have EYES (yours or otherwise).
