Valve Stem Seal Replacement? 86 C-10 w/305

I would like to know anyone's advice/info on replacing the valve stem seals on my 1986 C-10 , 305 V8.

 

The big question is what type of seal (Umbrella, "O" Ring, Positive Style, etc..) do I need to use and what size (3/8" Stem Dia. or 11/32" Stem Dia). The head casting #14022601 if that helps any.

 

What all tools would I need besides the valve spring compressor and the air compressor adapter.

Also the symptoms of my truck is that it's burns a little oil when starting the engine after it has sat for awhile and it smokes after idling for over 5 mins. But cruising at any speeds or at WOT it doesn't burn any oil.
