BDS 6" Installed =)

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

So I tried to post this all up yesterday but the forums were down, so here it goes!

I ordered my lift from Street to Sand Offroad here in Reno, NV;

6" BDS High Clearance lift

-New rear leaf springs

-Fox 2.0 rear shocks

Ordered on Monday afternoon and it arrived Tuesday morning. Payed 2000 out the door for the lift. I dropped my truck of yesterday to S2S at 0900 and they got right to work. I had them take measurements for me for reference to before and after the lift. Install was 740 out the door (600 install, 120 alignment and 20 for shop supplies).

Got a call from Randy today at 1500 saying my truck was already to go! Picked it up and it drives better than before it was lifted, and it looks absolutely great! I'll have to call back tomorrow for the before/after measurements because I forgot to ask due to all the excitement haha.

For the pictures, I have a bunch of before but the weather is crap today so I only have one of the truck lifted at this point. I'll take a bunch tomorrow when I go on shift.

The 305/55/20 Nitto Terra's tuck up nicely in the wells and I don't think they look small at all. I know that when they get run down I'll end up going with a BL and some bigger rubber, but that will be a while.

Anyway, onto the truck porn =)

I would also like to extend my gratitude to the members of this forum because without your guidance/reviews/posts I most likely would have ended up with a rough country 3" or some mediocre lift that would ultimately eff my truck. It's forums like this that help me make informed decisions and I am truly grateful, although my wallet hates you all at the moment ha. :cheers:

I'm so Jealous right now! Your truck looks bad ass! What were you running before to clear the 305/55/20's, leveling kit? Did it rub bad before? Its looked good before, but even better now.

Thanks man!

Yeah, just the 2'' RC level. It rubbed a wee bit, but only on the driver side. As long as I was mindful of the wheel position I could avoid it. I did end up trimming a little of the wheel well liner and I'm debating buying a new one to make it look clean again. Then again, when these guys get worn and I want to go to 35's or 37's I'm sure that I'll need to trim again.
