It takes awhile (upper rpm) to get the 5.0 pulling, they don't snap off the line from a stock tune too well imo but once they start going, they are strong. Not as strong as the 6.2 however :chevrolet:

Well duh! How does the Ford's 6.2 match up against the GM 6.2...wouldn't that be a better comparison?

I agree 100% but a Troll is a Troll... Ford should make a better transmission, if they did, I would still be in one. What do you drive, NoMoreGM4Me?

I changed my screen name just for trolls like you.

Better yet, let's compare the torque curves between the 6.2L and the EB.

Which one has more grunt in the RPMs most of use on a regular basis?

i.e. You are yanking a boat up a very steep boat ramp, which truck needs to rev higher to accomplish this task?

I asked this once before and it got ignored, I expect the same thing once again.

You GM fanboys can defend your purchase all you want and hate on the EB (and again, I would not buy one either, i would much rather have a NA V8) but the fact remains that it is a very strong engine...especially based on power/liter.

Yep, all of that is fine and dandy until something breaks on it, and you have to sell a kidney to pay for it to be fixed. There already having problems with it now, so whats it going to be like with high miles on it? Probably a broke down piece of crap that will cost a fortune to fix. Sorry, but I'll keep my 6.2 that is "supposedly" not as good as the EB according to you. At least when it needs rebuilt I won't have to sell my vital organs to pay for it.

I see you and others STILL have reading comprehension issues.

Where did I EVER say the EB is "better" than the 6.2L? I didn't, in fact, I have stated SEVERAL times I prefer the NA V8's (all of them) to the EB V6. but I am betting once again, this will get ignored to support your troll theory.

It still amazes me why you people feel the need to hate the competition and their offerings just to support your preferred brand or to justify your purchase.

LOL..............Are you serious or did you just forget to take your meds. today? You have been saying that all along when you started in this thread. YOU are the one who brought it up. It's quite obvious that you don't even remember what you say on here and are here for nothing but drama, just like a high school kid would want. If you comments above don't say that you believe the EB is better, you should start paying attention in class while you are in school.

Post #59 : "Just because I happen to like the Ford F150 better than your beloved GM (at this moment anyway)?"

Post #43 : "Well, it is available...and the Ecoboost will also give the GM 6.2L a run for it's money too...in fact, in stock form, it will beat it."

Post #55 : "What I did say is that the Ecoboost F150 is a mid-14 second truck....stock! And it WILL beat the GM 6.2L stock vs stock."

Post #77 : guess this comment suggests that you like the GM better "What shall I search first.....Burning oil, lifter noise, piston slap?"

Post #96 : "Better yet, let's compare the torque curves between the 6.2L and the EB.

Where does it say in ANY of the posts you quoted that I think the EB is better?

Giving an engine it's due credit is not saying it's better. I also notice you failed to quote the several posts where I said I am not a fan of the EB and would buy a GM 6.2L truck before an Ecoboost F150.

I have said, and will say again, that I think the F150 is a much better truck than your GMT900 though.

I would sell a not so vital organ for a new GM truck :)

Because I am not brand loyal to any brand. I know a LOT about GM trucks, specifically the GMT400/800/900 platforms. I would not rule out another GM truck, just not a GMT900. GM has a LOT to prove to me with the next gen. I may buy an F150, but I am debating waiting until the new gen comes out to see what improvements they made.

you drive nothing . not even a car . So you sold your truck to replace it with nothing . That means you dont have a job, and you are some kid that is being annoying or some older washed out guy that has no money and is always complaining about other peoples stuff that its not good enough and always thinks what is best and what he would do but you dont have even a truck. Its always poor losers that think they know everything lol or have all the answer lol .
