LOL..........no personal attack at all. Re-read the rule book.

I suggest you re-read it. Calling someone a TROLL is a blatant personal attack.

I also suggest you come to the realization this is the internet and stop taking things/people so serious. Why do you have such an issue with a complete stranger not sharing your opinion? Does it really matter?

Oh, and I would bet I have been driving longer than you have been alive. And I also bet I have owned and driven GM trucks longer than you have and know more about them than you do.

Then why don't you share that knowledge instead of bashing GM? That is all.

You make comments like what I bolded and then throw out that last paragraph. WTF? LOL!

Again, any stock Ecoboost, 5.0, or 6.2l Ford against my slow stock 6.2l 3:42 geared Silverado, $100 cash per run anyday of the week. Put the F up or shut the F up, period.

P.S. 14.6 @ 96.7 mph bone stock, on the street in 1/4 mile with the tires rolling in smoke for the first 10 feet. Don't worry, it's slow.

I really don't want to get involved with all of this but I would like to make a statement regarding something. If calling someone a TROLL on this site was against the rules then the website would not offer the :troll: symbol in the list of faces/action icons. This little guy is even named "Troll" in the list of suggestions so, with that said I don't believe this is a valid argument.

All of this, because someone decided to race a Ram? As for the EB vs 6.2... I can't say that I really care which is quicker, but my money would be on the 6.2, then the Tundra 5.7 (very close to 6.2), and the EB last (between the three). Heck, the Ram 5.7 almost matches the EB in the Ford "tow up a mountain" test, but they were smart not to put a GM 6.2 or Tundra 5.7 into the mix.

The Ecoboost is also capable of mid-14's, I have seen reports as low as 14.3, bone stock.

As for your truck roasting the tires...1. If you do spin your tires like that, you will most certainly lose and most certainly will not run a 14.6 sec 1/4 mile and..... 2. I doubt it will even do that, unless GM has really backed off the E-Nannies recently...which I seriously doubt.

Pretty hard for me to take you up on your juvenile bet proposition when I do not even own an F150 huh?

Many years of drag racing experience under my belt so no need for the "help", thanks.

Plus, there isn't any EB truck in my area pulling down anything less than a 15 flat considering that the numbers for my truck that I posted are real with 0% of bullshit included not to mention that out of the 8 or so that I've run, NONE have them have got around me. All of them are pissed at the horrible fuel mileage that they are getting as well but I'll let that one go.

Not juvenile, cold hard cash.

Yeah, like someone who drag races a bone-stock, E-Nannied GM truck is an expert on drag racing. Thanks, I needed a good laugh.

Look, if I had to choose between and EB F150 and a 6.2 GM truck, I would take the GM truck as I have zero interest in an EB. But I do not have my head buried so far in the sand (or in GM's posterior) to not see that it is an impressive engine power-wise. how much Tq does your 6.2L have at 2500 RPMs (where most people spend most of their time)?

Show me where it said "drag racing expert", son. Besides, who's to say that just because I run my bone stock, daily driver pickup on the street some, that I don't drive an 8.90 quick rod car down the strip on Sundays?

Is that all you got? Seriously? Time for you to go trolling elsewhere "boss". Thanks for playing.

Well, YOU were the one bragging about drag racing a 5000 lb brick...ignoring the fact that the EB has more Tq for actual work, which trucks are designed for, in the RPM range most people spend their time in. Yes, the EB has a lot of things to criticize (FE, sound, etc), but Tq/Liter is not one of them. Just the fact it's 3.5L can match your 6.2L is impressive...regardless of what badge it wears.
