Thanks zach. I actually bought it just this past April but, I'm only the 2nd owner. I really love that Vortec engine...lots of power on the highway. It's my first GMC truck.

you'll come to love that vortec. mine is almost to 300k miles and has been a flawless engine so far

Nice Truck. That Bodystyle looks alot better with a set of wheels on it.

I'm looking at swapping out the original rims for my old one's off my 4Runner. Only concern is that these one's are 8in wide and I'm not sure I'll have any rubbing on the front end. Only one way to find out I suppose. I know I won't have any problems on the rear.

Wow George...now that is a nice looking truck. I've always like this body style too. I like the simple looking front ends. I was thinking about getting a grille guard like yours or even a push bar so that I can mount a set of riding lights on...just waiting for pay day!

300k miles...wow...now that impressive. I am amazed at the initial 'punch' of power I get when I need to get up to speed coming off the on ramps and when I'm passing someone. I have to use the cruise control to keep me at the legal speed limit.
